Butch and Laura

Butch is a rescued Fila who was previously in possession of Outrageous Shadow Filas. He was pulled from a shelter in the Nashville, TN area. In the summer of 2006, Butch and Laura found each other via the internet! They met for the first time September 1st 2006 and it was love at first sight for them both.
They now share a home in Florida where both look forward to enjoying each other til "death do them part".....

Rescuing Unfortunate Faithful Filas also known as RUFF
This organization is in the process of having their 501 ( c ) (3) application approved by the Internal Revenue Service to be recognized as a Federally recognized non-profit organization.
The purpose of RUFF is as follows:
Purpose of Organization:

• To provide shelter, care, and veterinary attention to those Filas who have been abandoned, placed in shelters, or otherwise thrown away.
• To return those filas whose history is known or have a micro-chipp in place, to their breeder.
• To restore all filas in our care to good health and alter them before placement.
• To ensure that any filas placed by R.U.F.F. go to an educated home which is committed to the lifetime of the animal.

From time to time, Outrageous Shadow Filas also participates in rescue transport. If you are interesting in helping us transport these dogs to their new forever homes, please contact us!
